The Zambezi River is one of the world’s great river systems. The Zambezi is the largest river in southern Africa, and the fourth largest in Africa (after the Nile, Congo and Niger). It is the largest river to discharge into the Indian Ocean from the African continent in terms of volume of flow. The Zambezi is also famed for a geographical feature, and natural wonder of the world, the Victoria Falls.
