Elephant's Eye, Hwange

Elephant’s Eye, Hwange has just celebrated its second year and to mark the occasion, the new Sleep-out Deck was opened in time for the lodge’s anniversary. Guests can now spend the night under the starry African sky, surrounded by bush and overlooking a private waterhole. This romantic experience is included for bookings of three or more evenings.

Fine dining and exceptional game viewing combine with attention to detail and friendly staff to put guests at ease while they soak up the tranquil views overlooking the main waterhole.

The uniquely designed tented and thatched en-suite chalets are spacious and secluded,  blended with tasteful African décor, each with private views. Situated on a 6,000 acre private concession, the lodge is able to offer bush dinners, guided walking safaris and night game drives, as well as complimentary wifi in the lounge areas and a laundry service.

Solar geysers and an ozone filtration system for the pool were installed to ensure that Elephant’s Eye stays firmly within a green ethos. Jwapi Spa, which also opened this year, completes the offering with massages and beauty treatments from Esse.
