We have had 3 caracal sightings this year at Norman Carr Safaris’ Nsolo Bush Camp! These lovely animals are rarely spotted in South Luangwa, so to have seen one three times this year is a real bonus.

Norman Carr Safaris is widely recognized as one of the foremost tour operators in Zambia. Norman Carr established Luangwa's first safari camp in 1950. Back in the days when an African safari was a hunting experience, Norman developed the pioneering idea of taking people to look at animals and photograph them rather than to shoot them. Now operating out of six camps in South Luangwa including Kapani Lodge, Luwi, Nsolo, Kakuli and Mchenja Bush Camps and in March 2013 opened their newest camp; Chinzombo.

Awards

Norman Carr Safaris have been nominated in the Good Safari Awards 'Best Camps' categories for both Mchenja and Kapani and for 'Best Walking Safaris'. Of course all awards are thrilling but we are really keen that our brilliant Safari Guides get the recognition they deserve - you can click here to vote.
